lewisaur: There’s something about the isolation that hefty, deep sadness puts you under that is paradoxically comforting. It’s like you’re in an big black insulative bubble, and the external pressures and threats can’t pierce through it because you’re just too busy being fucking sad. The fuzzy connection to the real world allows you to escape away to the inside of your head, even if it’s not too pleasant in there.
